As a global leader in engineering and manufacturing automotive systems, JTEKT North America is dedicated to bringing in products and processes that ensure their plant is productive and viable for years to come. The global automotive manufacturing industry is highly competitive, so JTEKT needed to adapt in a sustainable, efficient way to stay ahead of the competition.

By integrating FANUC robots, JTEKT is able to simplify their processes, decrease their need for manual labor on assembly lines, and reduce the amount of waste they produce. Where one assembly line previously required ten workers to function, that same line now only requires two workers.

We’ve got over 30 pieces of equipment on this one line that were all integrated into FANUC’s automation system. From all different builders, all different makes and models, from across the street to around the world – all of that was successfully integrated by FANUC. And without their help, we couldn’t have done that in-house.
